Amber River Mercantile
One thing we like to do as a group together is merchant stuff at events. Right now, the house has two shops:
Amber River Pilfered Goods and the Amber River Sweet Shop
Tali'a merchanting at the Amber River Sweet Shop
So far we have merchanted at events such as the Northern Shores War Camp, Ruantallan War Camp, Great North Eastern War and various small local events. Our products range from various sundries of interest to people in the SCA, to our sweet shop where some of our best sellers have been sweet, ice cold, drinks based on various period syrups and our (not so sweet) pretzels amongst all the other sweet concoctions and fancy delights that cover our tables!
A small sample of some of the stuff found at the Sweet Shop: Cold and hot drinks, comfits, sugar'd nuts, pretzels, marzipans, baklava, halva, biskets (biscotti), sweet cakes, fruit pastes, marmalades and various sugar pastes.
